Meet the Author

I know what it feels like to believe in God and still ask why. I know what it feels like to pray and not get the answer you hoped for.

In 2021, my sister got sick. What started as COVID quickly became something more serious. I remember begging her to go to the hospital. She went, and they admitted her. At the same time, life kept moving. We were moving into a new house, trying to settle in, while she was fighting for her life. There was a moment where I believed she was going to make it.

But she didn’t.

Losing her broke something in me. Not just my heart, but my sense of certainty. I didn’t stop believing in God.

But I started asking why. That is where this book was born. Not from answers, but from questions.

I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a grandmother. Being “Lolli” to my granddaughter Posey is one of the greatest joys of my life.

She reminds me that even after loss, there is still life to be lived. This book is for the woman who believes in God but is still trying to make sense of her pain.

If that is you, you are not alone.
